Soirée du Vin 2018: Uniting in Generosity for INTL & Napa Fire Relief
Oct 2, 2018
A heartfelt thank you to all of the donors and guests who helped make this year's Soirée du Vin Wine Auction a success! The evening's theme was "Resilience," in honor of everyone who was affected by the Napa and Sonoma fires, including this year's engaging and generous guest speaker, Jean-Noel Fourmeaux of VGS Château Potelle. Jean-Noel gave an entertaining speech that kept our guests laughing, and INT'L* was honored to have him at this year's Soirée du Vin. His generosity shined through, especially when he doubled his live auction lot – bringing in $30,000 for the wine auction from his lot alone!
In total, our live auction raised approximately $130,000 for the Charlotte de Géry Endowment Fund and Fund-the-Future, with 10% of proceeds going towards the Napa Valley Community Fire Relief Fund. We are so grateful to everyone who made this happen, including our Steering Committee, volunteers, donors, bidders, and especially our Chairpersons, Tania and Stéphane Hauradou. Thank you!
